What started as an idea upon visiting Floyd, Virginia on our 11th anniversary has now become a reality and we are HOME at StoneHaven in Floyd, Virginia.
We stayed at a bed and breakfast on that anniversary trip and enjoyed hiking when Chris kissed me and said, “If I knew the Lord wanted this for us, I would sell everything I own and move you to Virginia.” After much prayer and consideration, we mapped out a three year plan and in 2018, we made the move and just opened up the StoneHaven bed and breakfast as of July.
We’ve already enjoyed having guests and look forward to welcoming more and offering healthy breakfasts with locally sourced food. Floyd is small town, but gets a lot of attention drawing people from all around the world to visit and listen to its Appalachian and Bluegrass music as well as visit many festivals. Almost anyone who visits falls in love with the town. Won’t you come see what Floyd has to offer? We have a room waiting just for you!
